The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is the childhood home to the author D.H. Lawrence.

The Museum is located in the ex-mining town of Eastwood and surrounded by the lovely landscapes that influenced Lawrence’s life and books. Guided and self-guided tours are available at the Museum, as well as self-led local walks. So whether you’ve read any D.H. Lawrence books, or simply enjoy a good story and visiting historic houses, come and visit the authentically restored miners cottage, where the controversial life of D.H. Lawrence began.
